Given a mission requirement, plan and design networks to provide the required services, availability, security, and redundancy needed to carry out the mission. Coordinate with subordinate, adjacent, and higher organizations to determine communications requirements. Supervise the configuration and installation of the network. Assist subordinate organizations in designing networks and planning.

Responsible for the installation, configuring, and management of data network systems in both stand-alone and client-server environment, including Microsoft based curriculum on MS Exchange/Server, CISCO Certified Network Associate (CCNA) modules 1, 2, and 3, as well as other authorized data network systems. Install, configure, and maintain network services, both hardware and software. Plan and execute the integration of multiple information systems, to include Data Distribution System-Replacement/Modular (DDS-R/M), in a network environment, evaluate and resolve customer information systems problems, and effect required hardware upgrades and repair to maintain mission capability.
