I guess you can say I am a jack of all trades. I have experience from driving trucks, utilizing skills in construction that range from carpentry to machine operating including skid steers, backhoes, straight mast fork lifts and variable all-terrain fork lifts. I have also worked as a graphic designer, printing press operator, copy editor for two newspapers, and then worked up from an Art Director to be the Media Manager and now a Web and Social Media Manager.Working for the newspapers, I utilized primarily Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, & Photoshop to create advertisements and news pages for both weekly and a daily newspaper. While working for a weekly newspaper, I ran an AB-Dick 9870 with t-head, and also used a Challenger paper cutter, along with various finishing items such a glue press, spiral binder, and others.After leaving the newspapers, I started working for a printing company. There I ran a Heidleburg QM46-2, with an infra-red and a powder coating drying system. I also used various other printing tools such as a metal plate burner, Challenger Paper Cutter, along with a folding machine and a correlator. The next stop was at a sports distributor corporate office. There I started as the Art Director, and handled all the print design for the company. Some of my job duties included flyers, business stationary, advertisements, brochures & catalogs. But my duties did not stop there. The company also sponsored tournaments across the US and Canada. It was also part of my job to go to these and handle the setup and break down of the tournaments as well as do photography and various videos there. I also spearheaded our venture in live streaming of the events. Next, I became the Media Manager for them. Then my day-to-day activities included everything mentioned above as well as managing the company website and trouble shooting any issues that came along with it, as we also sold products on the website.I also help out on the video production team at my local church. There I help in the production room handling the live stream that we produce, along with helping with the timing of special music that we record by giving lighting changes, when the choir or whoever is singing will be singing or resting. I also perform the post production edits for the weekly television version by utilizing Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects to create lower thirds.
