Manage day-to-day airside operations at Mount Isa Airport.Lead and manage the team of Aerodrome Reporting & Maintenance Officers.Manage Aerodrome Serviceability Issues.Ensure airport is compliant with all regulation and legislation.Management of airport operations manuals and procedures including emergency management, wildlife hazard management, operational safety plans, transport security plans and other required manuals. Ensure aerodrome compliance MOS139, ATSRs and other legislation.

Oversee daily airside operations at Mt Isa airport (ISA/YBMA), ensuring airside infrastructure is maintained, inspected and repaired as required. Ensuring security of the airport by conducting regular patrols. Wildlife management, bird dispersal.

Working as Network Operations Controller I was responsible for the management of day to day operations at the airline.This included- Managing flight crew duty- Managing network operations, including Adhoc charters and RPT services.- Managing all immigration and customs requirements for international RPT services- Liasing with other departments to ensure fleet availability meets scheduled requirements- Management of schedule disruptsUnfortunately due to the COVID19 outbreak my position was made redundant.

Our turn around team consists of one leading hand and 2-3 ramp operators. Duties of the role:- Delegate tasks to ramp operators;- supervise the unloading of luggage and freight to ensure it is separated and sent to its correct location for onward travel or returning to passenger;- supervise turn around clean of aircraft, ensuring standards are met;- load baggage and freight as per loading report issued on Zafire FirstLoad by Qantas Loadcontrol;- waste servicing;- potable water servicing; - dispatch and pushback of aircraft.Further to my duties as a Leading Hand, I was also the ramp representative on the Oceania Safety Committee. This role allows me to continually improve my leadership and supervisory skills and provides an environment of positive professional development.

I have had expeirence interacting with all elements of Tier 1 projects, have completed works for major companies such as QGC, Origin / APLNG and Powerlink Queensland. We have recently just completed an 8 month site biosecurity management contract with Powerlink Queensland on their Yuleba North - Blythdale transmission line project. Under my supervision this project was completed incident free.
