As a student researcher with Dr. Lara Cleveland at IPUMS, I contribute to projects focused on population data analysis and quantitative research. My work involves cleaning, managing, and analyzing large datasets, as well as assisting in the preparation of research reports and presentations. Through this role, I am developing advanced skills in data analysis and statistical techniques while gaining hands-on experience in social science research using population data.

As a Peer Reviewer for the Minnesota Undergraduate Research & Academic Journal (MURAJ), I evaluate undergraduate research articles submitted for publication, ensuring they meet academic standards for clarity, structure, and quality of research. My role involves providing constructive feedback to authors, helping refine their work while maintaining the journal’s commitment to showcasing high-quality undergraduate scholarship. Through this experience, I contribute to the academic community and deepen my understanding of research and the publication process.
