Key Responsibilities:Pre-Printing Analysis: > Review and assess customer CAD files for printability across SLA, DLP, and CCF/FFF technologies.> Estimate build times for project coordinators and production scheduling.> Identify and address potential issues with customer CAD models using Materialise Magics (STL) and Autodesk Powershape (BRep).AM File Preparation and Printing: > Prepare CAD files for AM by optimizing part orientation, creating supports, and setting slicing parameters.> Utilize the appropriate software for each AM technology: SLA: Materialise Magics (orientation/supports), 3D Sprint & Lightyear (slicing) DLP: Materialise Magics (orientation), Lychee (supports) & Autodesk Netfabb CCF/FFF: Markforged Eiger (orientation/supports/slicing)> Define fiber strategies for CCF printing to achieve desired part strength/toughness.> Operate, monitor, and unload multiple AM machines (SLA, DLP, CCF/FFF).> Perform post-processing tasks on printed parts: support removal, washing, and curing (DLP).Weekend Support and Machine Maintenance: > Participate in a weekend rotation to ensure AM machine availability.> Conduct minor maintenance and calibration tasks on various AM machines (SLA, DLP, CCF/FFF).Supporting Other Departments: > Assist CNC programmers by creating BRep models (frames, jigs, fixtures) and designing silicone compression tools using customer CAD data.> Generate basic drawings for the CNC department, specifying material dimensions and hole locations for manual milling.> Support the PU department by modifying customer CAD data (STL & BRep formats) to create SLA/CNC masters for polyurethane production.Reverse Engineering: > Reverse engineer scanned STL data into BRep models (STEP etc.) using Autodesk Powershape.> 2D Design for Additional Applications > Generate 2D DXF/DWG files from 3D models for vinyl sticker and transfer applications.
