I was on scholarship to take photos and write satirical pieces for Northwest university's student newspaper, The Talon. I was responsible for accomplishing one to two photo assignments each week along with a written piece of satire each week. On occasion, I would also produce a video as a highlight for an upcoming story.

I worked alongside a group of roughly ten other employees, both Northwest students and non-Northwest students, to help put on a summer camp for foreign exchange students. The camp hosted roughly 300 students over a month and a half long period of time. I served as a tour guide and field trip instructor on roughly two outings per week to various notable Seattle destinations such as the Space Needle, Woodland Park Zoo, Seattle Aquarium, and Pike's Place market. I also served as an assistant teacher, helping to plan, coordinate, and present lessons for the Korean students in the earlier half of their school day. During the evenings I also served as a Resident Assistant, helping to ensure that the students'​ time spent in the dorms was both safe and fun. I dealt with any instances where individuals'​ broke university established rules, helped organize fun nightly activities, and performed nightly rounds to make sure that all of the students' needs were taken care of before the next day began.
