I was promoted from lead within the technical support operations center, to broadband network engineer within the technology department. This saw my role evolve from a predominantly customer support and leadership based role, to a more technical and project based role. During my tenure as a Broadband Network Engineer for Highline, I have worked with our automation department to automate testing with USAC, I have networked a majority of our power management in the states of Texas, Nebraska and Georgia for monitoring, I have coordinated sample reshuffling and replacement for our ACAMII testing areas, have deployed Telco Media Gateways in multiple states, have handled User Experience sensor installations across Texas and Georgia, worked with in-field resources to assist in service installations and break-fix actions, taken a co-leadership role in our change management process (as well as assisting in developing our operating procedures for change management), assisted in core networking equipment transitions, coordinated on infrastructure redesigns within acquired properties and legacy properties, assisted with and coordinated emergency break-fix for market-wide events, began a project to create a unified nationwide physical security infrastructure that recently resulted in a system for both ACS and cameras being selected, as well as much much more.Within 4 years I have received 4 promotions, and this certainly will not be the last. I strive to continue making a difference within the company, and enhance the experience for both our customers and employees when possible, while continuing to keep company viability and profitability in mind. I manage all of this, while keeping feasibility in mind too.

With my promotion to the senior role within what was finally the technical support operations center, came even more responsibility and opportunities to learn. I was the primary trainer, and go-getter for the department. It was during my tenure as senior, that I completed a company wide VOIP system conversion with an extremely short turnaround, and established much of our current VOIP customer base on the same platform. With this role also came greater control of the pre-existing federal testing program, as I would be not only handling the endpoints and test results, but also sample management directly with USAC.I would also give a weekly briefing with BI to management to inform them of the status of testing.

I have met with my fellow council members every third Tuesday of the month for the past 3 years now. We review the monthly budget and expense reports, as well as department reports while evaluating and voting on measures as they come up. I have voted on measures such as a multi-million dollar grant that has given the city the opportunity to revamp it's dated and inadequate water system, as well as many other measures throughout my tenure that have benefited the city.Currently serve as the SME for technology across the board for the city via this unpaid role. I will always try my best to help the citizens of Corrigan within the constraints of time allowed when not dedicating myself to my primary career.
