Currently fully contractedWorking with a small team we took over a project that was over-budget and behind schedule. We managed to turn the project around and delivered on-time. My knowledge of multiple software platforms was handy in working on both the server and embedded side. Server side was able to create a system that constantly monitors and executes jobs based on specific prioritization scheme, built a website that allowed multiple types of users to do their tasks efficiently and communicate with one another, and web services to handle various necessary tasks sent from the embedded system. Developed a reliable cloud based infrastructure from the ground-up that handled extremely bursty traffic, peaking at over 10 million transactions per hour. The systems would automatically scale up and down depending on load, saving thousands of dollars per month. It also was built to handle multiple high-volume customers so no one's traffic could hurt or delay another's. Worked on a small and nimble team where each person was responsible for owning and delivering on expectations, without hand-holding or coddling. After more than ten years of code, ACE had a web of technical debt that needed constant attention. Led charge on the bug tracking system and took responsibility for deciphering any issues and fixing 80% of the bugs. The other 20% were handed off to the more veteran members with prior knowledge of the incidental complexity. BAE was concerned with building out an internal education initiative for their 15,000 employees; I independently took over the project and started the build out for their initiative while simultaneously working a multitude of other projects.
