Vehicle Systems design engineer responsible for fluid systems and mechanisms/actuation architecture, design, integration, and test.Technical and Programmatic Engineering Lead - Hydraulic and Utility Actuation System for a Lockheed Martin Skunk Works Advanced Development Program.-- Led a team of 4 engineers across multiple sites with daily, agile execution stand-up meetings. Responsible for budget, schedule planning, and overall system execution. Efforts have culminated in successful design reviews with positive customer feedback.-- Served as the Control Account Manager (CAM) for the team, responsible for monthly budget and schedule reports.-- Defined system architecture, external interfaces across different systems, and system level requirements. Wrote component level specifications and statement of works to put suppliers under contract for the development of new hardware.-- Developed a 1-D CFD model for a complete air vehicle hydraulic system to analyze for pressure drop, thermal effects, and water-hammer surges. The high fidelity model was also used to conduct trade studies and decisions for an optimal vehicle design.-- Developed a multi-body dynamics simulation for a landing gear system. The model precisely simulated the sequence of events, leading to accurate predictions of gear extension and retraction times.

Provided same-day engineering dispositions for discrepant items to facilitate rapid manufacturing and production efforts.-- Conducted system checkout (SCO) tests to validate the design and build of multiple fluid systems. Wrote SCO procedures with detailed instructions and graphics showing locations of test equipment hookups.-- Performed routing for tubing and flexible hoses for high pressure hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Within 2 years, took tube layouts from a conceptual design all the way to a detailed design for part fabrication.
