LEIF initially started as a re-seller of military surplus and distressed inventory in the Austin, Texas area. From there it developed to become a private labeling company in which we sold outdoor gear through Amazon.com and through local outdoor stores in Colorado. From there we expanded the company into a subscription based outdoor service in Boulder, CO. I Co-founded the company with my business partner, Garrett Goldsmith in 2013 and worked on it until July of 2015.I was primarily responsible for the day-to-day operations of the business. I worked on all of the pro forma documents, contacted and negotiated partnerships with various suppliers, pursued and led initial capital investments, and collectively helped decide LEIF’s various growth strategies.
