I started my higher education journey while still in high school through my school's early college program. I graduated high school with honors for my diploma and two associate's degrees from Mott Community College. Starting in high school I volunteered with a local non-profit providing office support and tutoring services, this continued through my first year at the University of Michigan Flint when my schedule allowed. At the University of Michigan Flint I am working on a bachelor's degree in Data Analytics with a focus track in Data Science. I am also working in the university library as a circulation assistant and working as an undergraduate researcher. To supplement my learning and future career certifications I am also working on certifications through Codecademy to start and others once that is done. The Certification through Codecademy works on skills such as SQL, Python, Tableau, Excel, Pandas, and MatPlot. It works on these skills to improve my data visualization as well as machine learning. The certification has lessons in these skills as well as portfolio projects to better show my learned skills.
