Helping architect and build a new data lake infrastructure. Focused on eliminating long running issues with data quality, repeatability. Architecture made use of AWS Step Functions, Glue Jobs, Spark as well as working on various streaming technologies. Presented to the entire tech org on various issues (Testing, Interviewing, Story Writing). Helped the department to adopt new processes like TDD and Pair Programming.

Founding engineer for a consulting firm. Helped hire and develop the engineering team while also heading up delivery on our largest client. Focused on process (Lean, XP, TDD, facilitating meetings) while executing technical delivery. Realized I wanted to move on from consulting after 7+ years.

At Pivotal I worked first as a Senior Engineer, then Engineering manager, Assistant Office Director and finally Principle Engineer. Throughout all the roles, I was in a client facing execution role. Responsible for client relationship management, technical execution and process coaching. Worked with many clients from many industries. Built products in a wide ranging array of technologies. From mobile apps (native iOS + Android as well as React Native) to web development (Rails + Spring Boot + React) the focus was always on a lean, user centered iterative approach to software delivery.
