With nearly 25 years of experience in a variety of industries, I have developed a unique set of skills and knowledge that have helped me to excel in my current role as a leader in the fire and flood property restoration sector. My career began humbly in 1998 when I relocated to Vancouver, BC, and supported myself through a variety of odd jobs including painter, landscaper, mechanic, roofer, and carpenter. These experiences taught me valuable lessons in self-reliance, perseverance, and the ability to relate to people from all walks of life.In the mid-2000s, I embarked on a new career path in the public markets with a focus on junior resource companies. Through my experience in setting up public relations and investor relations awareness programs, I developed a desire to learn more about the operational side of resource companies. I was fortunate to be mentored by an accomplished mining CEO, who groomed me for a leadership role in a junior-producing gold mine. I learned all the necessary facets of running a successful mining company from exploration, production, and expansion.During my career in junior mining, I raised over $35M for mining projects at various phases and established and negotiated contracts with foreign purchasers of precious metals. I was also a key member of the Mining Association of British Columbia/Aboriginal Affairs Committee, communicating industry needs to the Provincial and Federal Governments to help define industry and government policies.Currently, I am in a passive position with Western Precious Metals Advisory, where I assist with financing and corporate development for mining projects that are near-term production or have capital needs for production growth.Currently, I am the owner of a successful Fire and Flood Property Restoration company serving British Columbia's lower mainland for the last three years. Drawing on my diverse skill set and industry expertise, I have focused on providing leading-edge services and solutions to my clients, earning a reputation for excellence in the restoration market. I am now fully committed to growing my business, leveraging my experience, and continuing to provide innovative solutions to those who have been affected by fire and flood damage. With a deep passion for helping people in their time of need, I am excited to build on my achievements and lead my company to new heights in the years to come.
