Hello, my name is John Choate and I am passionate about telling stories, especially yours. I have a passion and a gift for hearing peoples stories and bringing them to life for the world to see. The greatest story that I was unfortunately never able to tell was that of my grandfather, a proud Korean War Veteran who fought for our country. It haunts me to this day not bringing that story to life for the world to see.In response to that, as a passion project, I have worked to tell the stories of other veterans in my hometown of Kalona, Iowa at no cost to them. Through their stories I have been working on a documentary for their families and our communities so that they can share their gift of pride in storytelling. I look forward to premiering this project in the Summer of 2023 at our local 4th of July celebration.At Storyline I have partnered with my wife, Emily Choate, our cofounder to help brands and show their passion they have for their business, their gift and so much more.
