As Managing Director and Cofounder of Decilion, I lead our mission to bridge the gap between global health research, policy, and practice. My role involves steering our innovative approaches to data visualization and communication, empowering decision-makers to drive meaningful health system improvements worldwide.

- Coordinate the communication and social media strategy of the Takemi Program in International Health and the Health Systems & Reform Journal in collaboration with issue sponsor institutions and researchers (i.e. World Bank, Clinton Health Access Initiative, Results for Development)- Support the Chagas Disease Working Group integrated by researchers, activists, and NGOs from different parts of the US, which meets every year in the Rethinking Chagas Workshop hosted by Harvard University.

- Drafted a country report on the opportunities and challenges of Fintech and Health in Colombia as a potential mechanism to improve Universal Health Care and access to healthcare services (Client: ACCESS Health International)- Redacted a country landscape report on falsified medicines in Colombia that included a political economy analysis and a series of recommendations to improve the public policy related to safer access to medicines (Client: U4–Chr. Michelsen Institute and the UK FCDO Office).- Provided an executive situation analysis on the access to COVID-19 vaccine in Latin America and the Caribbean, including a description of the situation on vaccine acquisition and distribution in the region (Client: Oxfam Int.).

- Coordinated a grant from the Global Road Safety Partnership to build a coalition of organizations to promote vehicle safety policies in Colombia, specifically related to the need for adhering to the UN World Forum for Harmonization of Vehicle Regulations.- Collaborated in a civil society coalition to implement strategies for promoting a tax on sugar-sweetened beverages, stricter regulation on food marketing and advertisement targeted to children, school environment free of junk food and better food labelling policies in Colombia.- Edited a published series of working documents from peers from different areas of the organization in response to the situation of the pandemic caused by COVID-19, seeking to understand the referents of the situation and its effects on civil society.

Designed communication strategies to promote the Takemi Program and boost its presence on social media. Supported Prof. Jesse Bump on his work on the political economy of global health.

Designed the initial concept of the WHO/WKC Knowledge Hub on Metrics and Monitoring for UHC in Aging Populations, a web platform for researchers and policymakers to learn about how countries define and measure essential health services, financial protection and care quality for ageing populations.

Assisted a working paper on Private Health Insurance and Universal Health Coverage based on Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Peru and South Africa

Led a group of 12 senior law students; presented 2 landmark cases before the Constitutional Court related to access to medicines and fetal tissue research.

Researched and identified public policies and strategies to promote physical activity, nutrition, and urban health in Colombia.

Compiled and processed legal documents in a descriptive study of tutelas as an element to access health services, which was conducted for the Ministry of Health and Social Protection. Collaborated in the study of health system reforms in 2013, comparing and analysing the legislative projects presented at the Congress of Colombia.

Collected and organised decisions issued by the Judgment T-760 of 2008 Follow-Up Panel of the Constitutional Court of Colombia for the project 'Health and Constitutional Rights' of the Universidad de los Andes School of Law and the World Bank.

- Developed a mobile web application with information of drug prices in the market and drugs regulated by the Ministry of Health and Social Protection with the support of different teams and professionals.- Formulated and reviewed public policy documents as a member of the technical working group of the National Commission on Pricing of Medicines and Medical Devices.- Provided legal assistance to the Director on two compulsory license procedures: Novartis’ Gleevec and DAAs hepatitis C drugs.

Assistant on the Judicial Review over the fulfillment of the Constitutional Court T-760/08. This decision is one of the most important judgments on Colombian jurisprudence, causing a great impact on Colombian healthcare system.
