With IBM I have worked on many different internal and commercial accounts spanning several industry sectors providing mid-range server system administration of the OS and Active directory environments, VMware and Windows systems ( versions 2003 - 2012) along with Security & Compliance. Most recently dealing with Windows in the Cloud environment. The other aspect of my current duties includes working with Safety and Environmental Manager to ensure that the plant stays within OSHA, EPA, DNR compliance. Additionally I provided training to the operators covering the operation and troubleshooting of an ethanol plant.
Night Shift Lead Operator/Supervisor
overseeing the production of ethanol at a 40 million gallon a year plant. Shift hours are on a 12 hour basis and over time as needed. Duties include operation of the DCS computer control system, making changes on the DCS system when applicable to change system parameters in order to improve system performance or quality of ethanol or DDG's, (distillers dried grain) products. I would oversee the work of 4 other employees including a maintenance technician. This entails reviewing lab results from tested sample of the products, assigning tasks as needed to help facilitate the production process and/or unexpected maintenance of the facility. Further I would maintain reports of sample data every 2 hours along with various other logs for work performed on the system. In our system we utilize a thermo oxidizer steam generation system (boiler) to provide heat to the process via steam. We utilize a multi-part water treatment system to clean the water we derive from our wells. The heart of our water treatment system is a combination sand filtration system and reverse osmosis system. The rest of our production system is made of a grains system for inbound/outbound delivery and transfer , grinding of grain into our cook process, a fermentation system, evaporation and distillation system as well as a dryer system to create DDG's

I was the owner of a nation wide dial-up ISP called Scorpion communications Network. Where I would handle the daily operations of the business. This included sales, marketing, technical resolutions (working with my technical team), as well as billing of customers. In addition to the ISP we provided computer and network sales and service to residential and business customers in the Central Missouri area.
