Manage a $100 Million business portfolio and lead team responsible for the company’s top Profit and Margin categories. Also, wholly accountable for all performance metrics in Sales, Profitability, Inventory turns and Market Share. Job Scope:• Directly responsible for Category team P&L and Sales budget achievement for a multi-facetted business platform comprised of Web, Retail and B2B verticals.• Drive Traffic & Sales in each business segment with margin wise competitive price points, Best in class content and innovative Vendor supported marketing campaigns.• Develop & implement lucrative marketing initiatives in each business silo and accountable for Sales & Profitability performance in each.• Harvest & develop new categories of business to broaden the company’s product footprint.• Foster collaborative partnerships within the MAT team framework to align people, resources and partners to one common goal which ensures that our strategy, price, product mix and shopping experience are best in class for the customer.• Collaborate with vendor community to develop multi-channel promotional opportunities. Negotiate tactical buys, competitive pricing and coordinate special purchases for upcoming events.• Leverage all cross-functional company assets to implement marketing campaigns. Results yield dynamic increases in traffic and conversion across the entire business enterprise.• Ensure MAT team objectives are achieved for all products in the category portfolio related to price competitiveness, stock, relevancy and alignment to company objective.• Work with Departmental adjacencies to create and deploy quarterly Retail Plan-o-grams which ensure the in store product assortment remains relevant and easy to shop.• Participate in formalizing quarterly MAT team targets for inventory turns, Revenue and margin with support of the Merchandising Planner.
