TA for PSYCH50: Intro to Cognitive Neuroscience

A global cross-college neurotech community where you talk BCI, meet future co-founders, and make life-long friendships.I run our speaker series team, bringing the leaders in industry and academia to college students interested in the frontiers of neurotechnology. Previous speakers include BrainCo's Max Newlon, Neosensory's David Eagleman, Neurable's Ramses Alcaide, and Krishna Shenoy.

Elected and re-elected Class President of the Class of 2023. Plan events, write classwide newsletter, oversee class budget, lead 16 person cabinet, attend university committee meetings, and work with various campus stakeholders to engage and support Stanford sophomores.

I lead the Spaceshot Dynamics team. We are currently implementing a stochastic 6-DOF high-power rocket simulator with DATCOM aerodynamic coefficients integrated into the simulation, as well as making simulations utilizing a Lagrangian Mechanical model of a spinning rocket and data analysis of test launches.

Granted a summer research fund in Professor Ben Feldman’s lab. I developed an analytical model for the probe-sample distance for the lab’s scanning single electron transistor (SET) microscope using Coulomb Blockade Period data and COMSOL Multiphysics simulations. Presented research to Stanford Undergraduate Summer Research Program.

Selected as one of 6 graduating seniors nationwide at the YMCA Youth and Government Conference on National Affairs to serve the 2020 conference.

Nc State University

Connected with department heads at NC State University about getting involved in their Quantum Computing ecosystem. Overseen by the head of Electrical and Computer Engineering; work with graduate students and academics to learn all aspects of Quantum Computation: physical underpinnings, mathematical representation, Quantum circuit programming with Qiskit, engineering implementation, and technological ramifications. Finished by working on graph theory problems using Variational Quantum Eigensolver.

Tutor over a dozen students (4th-12th grade and college freshmen) from multiple schools in basic mathematics, Algebra 1 & 2, Geometry, Precalculus, Calculus, Statistics, AP Physics, and Advanced Functions and modeling. Highest score in Southeast Region on ACSI Calculus tests with the highest number of perfect scores.

Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina Area

Elected 2018-2019 Youth Governor by over 1,000 peers from across the state. I lead all Youth and Government officers and facilitate the annual conference in downtown Raleigh.

Elected in 2017 and re-elected in 2018 by peers to lead Student Council. Regularly call and lead meetings with administrators, peers, and local businesses alike to brainstorm and implement ideas for entirety of student body. Implemented a hurricane relief project, Spring Pep Rally, Senior Parade, Dodgeball Fundraiser, Voting Drive, and more.

Washington, District Of Columbia

Selected as Senator Richard Burr’s Page during the 115th Congress. Helped facilitate Senate sessions as well as the Republican cloakroom.
