Throughout his accomplished 25+ year investment banking career, John has executed and closed over $5 billion in financings and over $1 billion in mergers and acquisitions transactions for his clients, including emerging and leading Software and Internet companies. John currently is a Partner and COO at Nfluence Partners. Spun out in 2018, Nfluence was originally founded as the Technology, Media and Telecom (TMT) group at Headwaters where they built a top 10 technology-focused boutique Investment Bank ranked by closed transactions in 2017. Over the past 12 years, John and the Nfluence team have completed nearly 200 transactions, repeatedly demonstrating tenacity, creativity and effectiveness on behalf of their clients. John also manages the operations of Nfluence Partners. Prior to Headwaters, John was a Managing Director and head of the Software and Internet Practice at Viant Capital, a boutique investment bank in San Francisco. John was also a Director at SG Cowen Securities Corporation in the software group, responsible for originating and executing securities offerings and mergers and acquisitions transactions for software companies. John has significant transaction experience in several investment banking product areas with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, public and private equity, and convertible securities. John also spent two years as a financial analyst with Kidder, Peabody & Co., Inc. in the Technology Group.
