Direct the Atlanta Regional Commission's government affairs with federal, state and local levels of government, particularly those that touch a 10-county region that includes and surrounds the City of Atlanta.

Directed agency/authority relationships at all levels of federal, state and local government for the purposes of: protecting and growing federal funding (e.g., FAST Act, MAP-21); growing federal investment in MARTA through Congressional and stakeholder support of specific grant packages (e.g., TIGER, Capital Investment Grant Program); generating Georgia Congressional delegation support around policies and legislative packages that benefit transit in general (e.g., Commuter Tax Benefit); working with state legislators on transit funding solutions for MARTA as well as regional and statewide interests; and engaging on all levels of local government to ensure input from the community is circulated throughout the proper channels of the Authority and acted upon in a timely mannerI also served as one of two in-house lobbyists for the Authority’s work with the Georgia General Assembly on an annual basis that included helping to successfully pass SB 369 in 2016 (MARTA City of Atlanta Half-Penny Referendum Bill) and HB 930 in 2018 (creation of “ATL” Regional Transit Authority). My role also included directing a diverse team of contract lobbyists and directing the Authority's relationship with the MARTA Overview Committee (MARTOC) throughout the year.

Directed all Congressional relations for the Healthcare Leadership Council (HLC), a broad-based healthcare trade association, throughout the midwestern United States. In this role, I primarily conducted in-district meetings with Members of Congress during Congressional recess periods, worked with Congressional staff (both local and D.C.) on a number of healthcare issues incuding Medicare Part D and the Affordable Care Act and built local level alliances with members of the healthcare and business communities.

Directed public affairs/grassroots/grasstops campaigns for organizations across the country, including Hawaii and Alaska, using a close knit set of contacts in the political, public relations, public affairs, strategic consulting and legal communities. Specific concentrations fell within the following fields: healthcare, regulatory (FCC, FDA, FAA, etc.), legislative/public policy (federal, state and local) and education.

Managed grassroots and issue-advocacy campaigns across the political spectrum for national clients through a wide network of over 1,000 political operatives from all 50 states, including Alaska and Hawaii.
