I am passionate about all aspects of web technology and digital media marketing; including design, development, email campaigns, analytics, and social media. I have built, managed, and populated content for both large, consumer-focused, nationally branded websites (Better Homes and Gardens) as well as websites for nationally known non-profits (American Bar Association); and have contributed to the digital marketing efforts of a wide variety of clientele.Professionally, my responsibilities have included the daily development and management of web content via content management systems (CQ5/AEM, Interwoven/TeamSite, Umbraco, Drupal), and I have acted as the site production lead for multiple cross-platform site transfers between content management systems as well as full website redesigns. I also design and develop custom websites and landing pages, primarily using HTML and CSS, as well as Javascript, PHP and jQuery. I’ve been responsible for digital marketing efforts through various channels with a key focus on responsive email design, campaign development and execution; utilizing customer relationship management tools (Lasso, ListServ, MailChimp, eCampaignPro). I regularly work closely with editorial and marketing staffs to educate them about their options when it comes to optimizing the impact of web content on their targeted audiences, and have assisted them in running and interpreting web analytics reports using both Omniture and Google Analytics. My experience has taught me the importance of building strong lines of communication between web and technology departments, and the organization as a whole. Having an educational background in graphic design and advertising has allowed me greater insight to see large scale projects and individual tasks from multiple viewpoints, instead of limiting myself to a strictly technical side.
