I lead Product Design for Facebook Groups.Our goal is to help the 3+ billion people on Facebook find communities that deepen their interests and explore the world around them. We practice design thinking through data-driven decision making, deep research (ethnography, usability, surveys, partnerships, and interviews), sprints, and experimentation as our core levers for product innovation and improvement. Our designers are consummate partners to their cross-functional teams, contributors to our long-term strategy, and operate with a growth mindset so their skills remain agile and evolve with emerging technology. Our managers are highly proficient in developing strategy and relationships, forecasting work, resource management, and holding a high quality bar.To support this team, I focus on defining our organizational strategy, aligning with senior leads and partner teams, innovating on the core product and establishing new bets, landing our business goals, and developing bar raising talent.

Courses taught include a combination of basic design principles, user experience and interaction design, as well as business presentation, stage performance, and public speaking. Responsible for advanced and intermediate coaching of speech and debate; Literary selection, cutting, and finalization of performance pieces; Development and revision of persuasive, rhetorical criticism, and after-dinner speeches; Recruitment and public relations; Tournament registration, travel, and other event planning and documentation; Web site development and maintenance. In 2006 and 2007, FSU Forensics expanded their membership from six to twenty-five students and was ranked first in the state.

Designed overall agent experience, GTM strategy, and communications plan; Collaborated with the CEO to develop programs designed to improve association revenue and reach; Directed all corporate communications/media relations, brand management, employee communications, marketing of events, community and philanthropic activities; Planned and facilitated marketing, advertising, and communications of the Education, Membership, Legislative and Member Services Departments; Measured and reported association effectiveness and reach to BOD.

Responsible for the bidding, billing and scheduling of all active industrial and residential contracts. Developed the strategic plan for information handling and resource management. Learned cabinetry and carpentry from the ground-up to implement improved process and workflow.
