In 2018 I suffered ill health with six months in hospital. Since then my health has precluded me from my former professional roles with Bielenberg Enterprises and the International Council of Management Consulting Institutes. I continue to assist several charitable organizations and to indulge in writing and recording music, and other worthwhile intellectual or artistic pursuits.

Currently serve as Vice-Chair of the Quality Assurance Committee of ICMCI. This small team includes representatives from Cyprus, Singapore, USA, Canada, Jordan and Finland. It oversees the maintenance of the global standards of member Institutes, in relation to professional practice and the award of Certified Management Consultant, the only internationally recognised mark of excellence for professional Management Consultants. The ICMCI represents around fifty member countries and is an United Nations affiliated NGO.

Bielenberg Enterprises is a consulting boutique specialising in productivity with people. It links to other consulting organisations and groups on a project basis. Typical projects involve techniques such as coaching and development of executives, continuous improvement / lean thinking / quality improvement, enterprise bargaining, operational review, work scheduling implementation, strategic and operational planning.

To provide leadership and support to IMC Australia Federal Council and to foster strong regional Chapters throughout Australia, providing services and representation to professional management consultants.IMC Australia is the peak institute for professional management consultants. It has branches throughout Australia and is a member of the International Council for Management Consulting Institutes - a non-government organisation recognised by the UN and ILO.

Introduced Work Improvement Committees (TQM) to reduce costs in the face of cheap pineapple imports. Extensive Formal Coaching of the Management Team from Departmental General Managers to Supervisors in Marketing & Sales, Production, Engineering, Purchasing, Finance & Accounting, IT and Human Resources based on Lean Thinking principles.

Undertook review of operations at Curragh Coal Mine, resulting in a new culture & new organisation (Quality Through People). Worked extensively with the management team over many years in Facilitation of Strategy for Gordonstone Mine, Planned the initial manning of the mine, Facilitated the Atlantic Ritchfield Residential Middle Management Program and designed and conducted Residential Supervisory Programs. Involved in every aspect of selection and personnel evaluation.

Facilitated the annual Departmental Unit Business Plans within the Distribution Business. Plans were developed using TQM Principles in intensive two day workshops for each of eleven Business Units.

Trained consultants and clients in test design and application throughout Asia Pacific Region. Undertook statistical research projects to solve client problems and to improve selection fit.
