Senior PM managing the team of people running the National Accounts new construction and remodel projects for our various accounts, incluing Wal-Mart, Walgreens, Menards, Aldi Grocery, and other major retailers and various large-scale projects requiring overhead doors, automatic doors, dock equipment and other products.

I work on the new construction, commercial National Accounts side of the business for the manufacturer, selling commercial garage doors to general contractors and the end user, managing the turnkey project from start to finish. -Bid & negotiate subcontracts with General Contractors -Schedule and oversee the completion of all projects -Perform with blueprint take-offs (both electronic and paper plans) and bidding processes, including cost/mark-up of material & labor -Buy-out all job material and coordinate labor after contract award -Prepare submittals for presentation to contractor/architect -Solve project-related issues for timely and cost-effective results

By the time I left in late 2006, I had 2 Project Managers, 3 full-time crews on the payroll, several contract crews, 7 sustainable accounts with DFW-area school districts and government and municipalities, and hundreds of contracts in-house for new construction projects.
