• Timely respond to day-to-day surface survey tasks including design of surface layouts, restricted area mark, setting out of surface facilities. • Plan, prioritize and organize all survey task in an applicable manner to meet operational targets. • Provide accurate processed surveys data to the technical service department and other stake holders. • Communicate positively to Mine foremen, Captains, and Shift boss of any deviation in development operation and production. • Effective use and maintenance of survey instrument (Leica Total Station, GPS receivers, Optech CMS V400 and Carlson C-CALS) and report any functionality issues to the head of survey. • Ensure survey data is kept up to date and readily available for all mining related activities. • Completing end-of-month volumes and reporting as well as end of week report.• Learn and ensure compliance with safety, environmental and statutory regulations• Provide information to subornative and communicating with shift bosses to get task done

• Assist in maintaining accurate survey control of underground workings, surface development and stockpiles.• Assist with and carry out detailed surveys for end-of-month volumes and reporting.• Effective use and maintenance of Leica Total Station equipment, and GPS equipment.• Learn and ensure compliance with safety, environmental and statutory regulations• Generate accurate survey data and effectively communicate information to the technical team in a timely manner.• Assist with ensuring Emergency Plans are up to date and easily accessible.• Produce Mine Plans for regulatory submissions (under the direction and supervision of the appointed Surveyor).• Installation of necessary survey control for directional control of mining.• Assist with the production on Mine plans and memos to a high standard as required
