Responsible for assisting homeowners with use of the City of St Paul’s Home Improvement Lending Programs. These home improvement and energy efficiency loan programs were available on a citywide and neighborhood basis, and these deferred payment 0% interest due-on-sale loans provide rehab advisor services for very low-income homeowners. Eligible improvements include basic and necessary improvements such as accessibility improvements, correction of lead-based paint hazards, electrical, plumbing, heating systems, windows, doors and roofing.Advised homeowners on several important aspects of the projects:1. The Owner-Contractor relationship, stressing good communications and setting expectations.2. The Owner’s responsibilities in the project.3. The roles of HUD and the City of St Paul.Working in these programs provided me the opportunity to share my skills with an urban population often neglected by other parts of the industry and society.

Assigned to the Combined Security Transition Command's (CSTC-A) Security Assistance Office working for the US Army.Responsibilities:- In-Transit Visibility of all Foreign Military Sales surface cargo in the Afghanistan Theater of Operations. - Liaison with outside organizations including Army Surface Deployment & Distribution Command (SDDC), Global Transportation Network (GTN), Ocean Cargo Clearance Authority, South West Asia (OCCASWA), USAF Air Mobility Command (AMC), US Transportation Command (TRANSCOM), and Military Sealift Command (MSC), to obtain, manage and present accurate and timely decision-making information to general staff to assist with product delivery decision-making.- Team with the Security Assistance Office (SAO), Foreign Military Sales (FMS) office, Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) and the Deputy Commander Support Operations (DCOM-SPO) to push forward the mission of purchasing, ordering, shipping and receiving all FMS equipment for training and equipping the Afghanistan National Security Forces.- Lead the CSTC-A Air Operations Team at the North Kabul Internationall Airport coordinating the offload and distribution of high-priority cargo for the Afghan National Security Forces, including weapons, ammunition, and sensitive cargo.
