The implementations often involved management of custom software modifications and integration with ERP products such as SAP and Oracle Financials.Metasys merged with Optum in 1998.• Participated as a member of the Metasys / Optum merger team. Assisted in combining process and procedures of the merged Professional Services team.• Quickly learned relational database design (RDD) through formal Oracle training at Metasys. Independently began learning about newer technology needed to program database driven websites. -

In 1999 Maersk acquired the international container shipping business and the SeaLand name.Starting in sales for the Carolinas, I later took a position that started my software development career. At SeaLand I worked on a team designing and building software initiated to mitigate Y2K issues for the company. Writing the requirements for software using the web to track cargo was a later project. It was years before systems and the web caught up to the ideas.
