As a Commercial Loan Officer with Community State Bank I work with small businesses throughout our service areas to find the right mix of deposit & loan products to help them grown at a pace best for their tolerances. During my time with The Bank of Northern Michigan, I worked with existing commercial customers, while seeking new ones, to help grow their businesses and the area as a whole. I also represented the Bank at community events throughout the northwest Lower Peninsula communities of Michigan including Petoskey, Charlevoix, Boyne City, & Harbor Springs.

Ann Arbor, MI

As a Portfolio Manager with Michigan Commerce Bank (f/k/a Ann Arbor Commerce Bank) I was actively calling on current and potential customers within the Ann Arbor Market. I also worked with our credit & special assets group to assist in the recovery of any troubled assets.

While working within the commercial credit system of Ann Arbor Commerce Bank (a $400M+ Community Bank) I learned the proper procedures & techniques for underwriting various commercial requests. Additionally I was exposed to the various styles of portfolio management through my work with a very experienced commercial lending staff.

I worked as a Student Assistant within the Off Campus Library Services deparment of the CMU Library System. This meant fielding library related questions and requests from students across the country & globe as they worked within CMU's Global Campus.

My duties were to cover vacations & sick time during my initial summer employment within the teller staff at Chemical Bank. This transitioned into a regular part-time position at their Mt. Pleasant branch while I was attending Central Michigan University.
