Knudsen Construction is a general contracting/carpentry firm based out of Calumet City, primarily performing work in the Chicago area. My responsibilities for projects range from estimating and bidding, to project management, and billing the clients. We specialize in interior office and retail build-outs, however we have completed new construction.

Siebert Construction and Millwork, Inc. is not your typical millshop providing only cabinets and trim. Siebert offers you a full service finish carpentry package. Our experienced union carpenters can handle even the most complicated installations. I am responsible for estimating, project management, shop production, field coordination and billing/project.

At Olthof Homes, I was responsible for purchasing all contracts for the residential homes. I bid, negotiated, and awarded contracts for each trade category. I also maintained budgets and sales prices for the homes, and the home options. I tracked job variances, and worked with the construction managers to minimize variances. Olthof Homes was a wonderful.

I worked as a rough framing carpenter, on a small crew of 4 people. I handled all aspects, from deck to roof. I was able to learn a tremendous amount from the owner, not only how to build a home, but how to build the correct way, and how everything fits together.
