Served as the SME for an Army Special Operations unit while providing guidance on medical testing/evaluation, supplementation and nutrition needs to optimize the health and performance of special operations soldiers. Identified and corrected frequent ordering of the wrong vitamin D lab to assess status due to improper nomenclature within the EMR. Studies at other medical facilities estimated annual cost savings of $43,000 based off the same issue.
