Current Solutions is a lean, mean EPC and solar Project Development machine -- C&I solar and energy storage projects.- Renewable Energy Construction and Development: CS provides solar, energy storage (ESS), microgrid and EV project development & construction services for C&I clients throughout the state of California.- Sales & Business Development: In two years, successfully secured seed funding, developed sales pipeline to grow company from 4 to 50 employees in two years. In that time, secured $15m in revenue across 15 new clients, with an 86% client retention rate.

- Sustainability Strategy Development: Developed Engie’s 2020 sustainability strategy w/executive stakeholders, including benchmarking, materiality assessment, GHG inventory, target development, disclosure strategy (CDP, GRI, SBTi), internal price on carbon (IPC), carbon mitigation roadmap, as well as energy and offset strategy. - Renewable Sourcing & Client Mgmt.: For F500 client, developed RE100 & SBTi-compliant RE procurement strategy in difficult regulatory markets in Asia, Middles-east, and LatAm. Evaluated portfolio for on-site, off-grid, corporate PPA/vPPAs, green retail supply options, in addition to best practice RECs procurement strategy. - New Business Development: Helped stand up new consulting practice, targeting decarbonization strategy for gas/fossil fuel-heavy utility clients. Services including gas decarbonization—renewable natural gas, H2, building and transit electrification in reg/non-reg markets, including PJM, MISO, ISO-NE, NYISO and CAISO.

- Corporate Sustainability Strategy: Led engagement teams to work with client executives and cross-functional teams to develop measurable, long-term decarbonization strategies in various industries; advised and assisted clients with their disclosure to third-party sustainability frameworks (CDP, GRI, DJSI, RE100, TCFD, etc.). - Energy Strategy: Developed cost-saving renewable energy supply strategies and market-specific Renewable Energy Credit (REC) deployment for corporate clients in the US and Asia.- Product Management: Lead development of renewable energy advising services on the E&W Team, in coordination with other stakeholders within the org., such as Leadership, Product, Marketing & Energy Supply.

- B2B Project Sales: project managed creation of new process & cross-functional team to sell more than 160 MW in distressed commercial, industrial, government, institutional, multi-family and utility solar + energy storage assets to 3rd party energy developers, averting projects’ cancellation and over $400 million in penalties. - Client Relations & Negotiations: Administered sale of asset portfolio via RFP, coordinating developer relationships to ensure maximum participation. Prepared and solicited information to external buyers, conducted contract (LOI/MIPA/ROFR) due diligence and pricing negotiations, resulting in sale of ~160 MW of project/development assets and $50 million in profit.- Analysis: Coordinated w/internal stakeholders (engineering, ops, legal, permitting, interconnection, policy and executive team) and external consultants to analyze project pipeline for troubled assets to bring to market.

- Project Development/Sales: Responsible for origination of solar deal acquisition pipeline to support senior sales team; developed and maintained relationships with dozens of developers, channel partners, consultants and other industry partners to support deal flow. Developed and delivered project proposals.- Product & Market Analysis: Developed new market & product analysis, whose recommendations avoided ill-advised investments in markets outside of company’s core strengths, including domestic wholesale, contracts for differences, strategic siting of grid-connected renewable systems and trans-national power sales.

- New Market Analysis & Strategy: Led development of sales team new market strategy targeting municipal & co-op utilities for community solar and energy storage projects, resulting in 168MW of pipeline.- Business Development: Developed on/off-site solar and energy storage projects in the public and water/irrigation sectors CA and Arizona resulting in 18 MW in closed deals.

- Market Analysis & Product Management: Developed market strategy and product framework for new Citizen Relationship Management (CRM) IT solutions servicing state and local govs; conducted market identification & analysis, product specifications, entry strategy and evaluation plan for new product roll-out.

- Program Design & Management: Designed and implemented competitive 16-week engagement program between private sector project teams recruited from tech firms and management consultancies to work with City department to deliver products that solve a public sector capacity restraint. - Stakeholder Management: Conducted focus group Bay Area tech firms to develop strategy on how to align CSR efforts with City economic development strategy leveraging City programs with existing resources and initiatives in the community and private sector, as well as at philanthropic foundations and regional universities.

- Research, Analysis & Program Development: Designed program and financing options to support the Administration’s Climate Action Plan (CAP) goal to install 100 MW of distributed solar generation on federally subsidized low-income housing, using third-party PPA’s, shared community solar, grant and private financing.

​- Project Management and Social Entrepreneurship: Awarded USAID grant to provide tailored business development assistance to local entrepreneurs to improve food security. Developed and managed end-to-end project preparation, execution, and reporting, resulting in 300% increase community food-security projects.- Community Health Education: Organized workshops with local governments to advance community nutritional knowledge in nine rural villages; utilized local interpreters for six regional dialects to maximize comprehension.- Inter-cultural Management: Designed and conducted training of Beninese volunteers in French on food security challenges, education, agroforestry and farming techniques in resource-limited settings.- Fund-raising/Grant Management: Raised funds and established endowed scholarship for high performing and needy students from village of Manta's Collège d'Enseignement Général.

- Sustainable Communities: Designed new 50-city cross-functional statewide initiative to train local government staff to inventory and benchmark municipal and community GHG emissions; and utilize PG&E’s Energy Efficiency (EE) programs to meet Climate Action Plan reduction goals. Established internal data handling rules and procedures to pull, clean and present municipal and community energy usage data to city governments. - Regulatory & Public Relations: Represented Green Communities initiative in media relations, regulatory filings/testimony and with state/local elected officials and staff.

- Program and Policy Management: Awarded state Department of Toxic Substance Control “Oscar Award” for work with PG&E’s Demand-Side-Management lighting team, upstream manufacturers, midstream distributors and downstream end-users to create “Take-it-Back” Partnership, a five-pilot, compact (CFL) and tube fluorescent lamp end-of-life recovery program—diverting over 1.1m used lamps from the waste stream in its first year.- Stakeholder Management: Coordinated extensively with internal stakeholders, state/local governments, midstream retailers & distributors, upstream manufacturers and consumer advocacy groups, gaining consensus on draft end-of-life disposal legislation and recycling pilot design. - Program Design & Management: Conducted cradle-to-grave program design, planning, stakeholder engagement, documentation, market identification, pilot development, marketing plan, savings calculator and evaluation plan to test the impact of shade trees as an EE measure to reduce energy usage associated with home cooling. Though program proved to not be cost-effective, program design was adopted by some local governments to implement subsidized programs.- Marketing & Public Relations: Represented PG&E programs in external media communications, including print, radio, television, community stakeholders as well as local governments and elected officials.

- Successfully secured endorsement of the majority of delegates in the 3rd Senate District Caucus at the California State Democratic Convention.- Planned and executed campaign’s ground program over three-county State Senate District to maximize size of identified supporter universe with limited campaign resources.- Supervised campaign phone banks, canvass walks, and other volunteer voter-contact activities of up to 300 volunteers at a time.- Helped establish strong coalitions with organized labor, elected officials, area Democratic clubs, and local community and advocacy groups, to recruit, empower and utilize a strong and dynamic volunteer base.
