About John Bohman

With over 10 years of experience in the renewable energy sector, I am a passionate and visionary co-founder and CEO of Current Solutions, a lean, mean EPC and solar project development machine. My core competencies include project planning, strategy, climate action planning, and sustainability solutions. I am driven by the mission of accelerating the transition to a clean and resilient energy system, and creating positive social and environmental impacts. I bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team, having worked with various stakeholders, such as utilities, public sector, F500 clients, and non-profits, across different regions and markets.As the co-founder and CEO of Current Solutions, I lead the development and execution of C&I solar and energy storage projects, from origination to commissioning. I leverage my certified energy manager (CEM) credential and my domain expertise in solar and energy storage products to deliver innovative and cost-effective solutions that meet the needs and expectations of our customers. I also oversee the strategic direction and growth of the company, building strong relationships with partners, investors, and regulators. Some of the achievements that I am proud of include securing a large contract with a major utility, launching a community solar program, and expanding our operations to new territories.
