Currently serving as president of Los Angeles-based 501(c)3 LGBTQIA+ civil rights, social action and advocacy nonprofit Rainbow Advocacy and producing the organization's OUR PRIDE programs, including the Arts & Advocacy program and the OUR PRIDE Video Fest, the LGBTQIA+ youth-focused program to amplify social action and advocacy through the arts and community honors programs. Introducing Troy Perry Legacy Grants.Producing socially conscious media and programs has been an important part of my life from starting out as Program Director and producer for Northern Arizona’s NPR public radio station and broadcast television, and producing media programs for a wide range of businesses and socially-oriented organizations. Some past work includes establishing the media companies NeTV Networks & Pacificom International, and for several years producing television and media programs in Hong Kong, South Korea & Japan. I've been recognized for work in building international relationships, particularly between Beverly Hills and Japan, by the Beverly Hills Chamber of Commerce and the California State Senate, receiving the Beverly Hills Global Business Award and a California State Commendation for public service. Working to strengthen the Los Angeles LGBT business community, I received the 2005 Member of the Year award from the Los Angeles LGBT Chamber of Commerce.
