Together with Professor Chris Myers, we taught undergraduate computer science and mechanical engineering students how to ideate, sketch, storyboard - and then bring their ideas to life with CAD, mechanical systems, physical prototyping, microcontrollers, and fabrication. Passing some of my knowledge along to another generation of creative professionals was extremely rewarding, and taught me valuable skills in leadership and communication.

This class covered product sketching, ideation, storyboarding, and the fundamentals of presentation. The class resulted in a final group project where students came up with a business idea and utilized everything they learned in class to create and present a pitch deck about their idea.

My team sold new cabin technology to EV auto companies (Tesla, Rivian, Lucid). I designed and engineered several functional prototypes that were shown to executives at these companies. I utilized programming, prototyping, and mechanical engineering to complete these prototypes - some of which resulting in new business contracts.

Designed and managed the execution of various fixtures, furniture, and displays. We worked directly with creative teams and manufacturing partners to deliver both consistent and flawless experiences for our clients worldwide presence.Created 2D drawing documentation sets to communicate engineering concepts to overseas manufacturing partners. Ensured tolerance and part performance through drawing review and traveling to factories.

At CABA Design I worked on their brand "Inside Weather" designing, engineering, and overseeing manufacturing of flat pack furniture on site at their location in San Leandro, California. I worked as the sole designer and engineer behind the Frank Lloyd Wright "Usonia" collection.

At Whipsaw I worked directly with several senior designers and was involved with the entire design process. I interacted directly with clients and responded appropriately to their requests, including but not limited to concept ideation, market research, researching engineering requirements, and form development.
