I was with the Harrison Thermal Division of General Motors Corp. from August 1966 to retirement. I began as a packer on the shipping line while continually furthering my education, becoming a Supervisor, Engineer, Segment Leader, and finally Operations Manager. GM spun-off the Components Divisions as Delphi Automotive Systems, from which I retired in 2003. After I retired Delphi filed bankruptcy and abandoned all Benefits, including Health, Dental, Vision, and Pension.37 years of loyal dedicated service meant nothing.
