• Responsible for safe daily maintenance work activities including work identification, long and short-term planning, scheduling, spares management, execution and follow up of all maintenance work. • Oversee contractors, mechanical maintenance and operational personnel in commissioning, startup and warranty claim tracking with OEM and engineering resolutions. Cost tracking and scheduling.• Provides technical support for operational excellence for commissioning new steam turbine components utilizing outside resources are necessary.• Managed 48 hourly team members and 10 maintenance personnel with 8 direct shift managers. • Oversee departmental procedures including preventative maintenance schedules, standard operating procedures, job safety analysis, emergency control procedures.

Lordstown Energy Center, Warren Ohio

• Responsible to ensure the owners assets were operated in a safe, environmentally responsible manner with zero lost time accidents for plant personnel in 4 years overseeing 14 direct reports.• Managed O&M and capital budgets developed and implementation of best practices to ensure all financial goals were met. This resulted in cost savings of $2.49M per year and plant availability increase of 4.9% through forecasting weather and plant capacity.• Plant site representative in commissioning, startup and warranty claim tracking with OEM and engineering solutions with monetary resolutions based on Long Term Service Agreement language and expectations on the commissioning of Siemens 8000H combined cycle plant.• Oversaw all operational reporting for local, federal government and plant ownership requirements. • Created Long-term capital projects and plant revisions through Management of Change (MOC).• Educated and train direct reports in all energy initiatives and cost savings activities. Qualifications through qualification cards, tests, and oral boards.

Avon Lake Generating Station

• Responsible for the plant’s parameters and conditions are within all operational and environmental limits using operational procedures, directives and operational team members training resulting in availability increase of 7.1% overseeing 6 direct reports and 59 operational team members.• Responsible updated operational procedures, CEMS and Environmental compliance and NERC reporting. Implemented a robust training program with qualification card and testing.• Collaborated with operational personnel to lower EFOR, focused on the departments’ budgetary constraints and operational readiness with plant yearly savings of $750K and increased revenue of $1.2 million.• Responsible for the operational coordination, drive, procedures, and direction during the months leading up to the plant closure date of October 1, 2018, since revised closure of April 1, 2022. • Installed, commissioned, and operated back-end technology of mercury capture for environmental compliance as part of regulatory requirements.

Potomac River

• Responsible for the plant’s parameters and conditions are within all operational and environmental limits using operational procedures, directives and operational team members resulting in availability increase of 2.5% and revenue of $2.4 million by increased plant availability, lower EFOR, focus on the departments’ budgetary constraints overseeing 8 direct reports and 39 operational team members• Responsible for proper training, Operations Code of Conduct, revise and updated operational procedures, CEMS and Environmental compliance, NERC, and qualification programs. • Responsible for the operational coordination, drive, procedures, and direction during the months leading up to the plant closure date of October 1, 2012.
