Using data from vendors and internal systems, analyzed call data to track revenue, attribute costs to each business line, and validate vendor invoices. Ran MySQL queries and created reports that tracked call volume by subscription type, monitored call originations from high cost areas, and confirmed vendors were charging negotiated rates. Scrutinized call records for fraud detection, and confirm calling activity conformed to the company’s Term of Service. Reporting was used to provide insight into customer behavior, support business decisions, and accurate customer invoicing. • Led process with the Engineering team to create accounting processes and prepare monthly subscription revenue reports. The reporting tracked current and deferred revenue of monthly, yearly and pro-rated yearly subscriptions across multiple conferencing products. Recognized when deferred revenue became earned and managed adjustments for refunds and non-payments. • Oversaw day-to-day financial activities including Invoicing, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processing. • Managed the production of the Company’s first fully Audited Financial statements. Responsibilities included providing information on the Company, submitting all PBC items, providing the Company’s positions on revenue and expense recognition policies, and reviewing accounting firms work product.
