Working in the Information Services Data Analytics Center, I implement standard definitions to govern metrics, dimensions, and other business terms throughout the organization.I advise Service Lines, Value Initiatives, and other areas with respect to the access, analysis, and contextualizing of large volumes of data.I provide coordination and leadership on our migration to a cloud-based reporting and analytics platform on Microsoft Azure, including data movement, modeling, semantic layer, cataloging, glossary, and BI tools and standards.I develop and validate queries, data extracts, and data feeds using Epic Clarity (T-SQL), Microsoft and SAP BI tools, and SAP HANA.My achievements in this position include the consolidation of the functions of multiple systems into Epic Clarity, and leading the enterprise implementation of the new platform.

Here, I managed a six-person team and a total department of over 70 staff members administering and supporting electronic medical records systems by Epic and Allscripts. I directed application architecture for the Epic system and ensured interoperability with Epic and non-Epic platforms.I maintained accountability for the performance and availability of clinical systems used by nearly 25,000 physicians and staff to track records on over 300,000 patients.The scope of my responsibilities included attestations for Stage 1 and Stage 2 Meaningful Use programs for Eligible Hospital (EH) and Eligible Provider (EP), HIMSS Level 6 inpatient validation, and the leadership of efforts on e-Clinical Quality Measures.

In this role, I directed 25 analysts, managers, and an application architect supporting our inpatient Electronic Medical Record (EMR).My responsibilities included leading the development, testing, and implementation of interdisciplinary clinical documentation tools, working with executives and other stakeholders throughout the organization.I served as an invaluable source of guidance on Computerized Clinical Decision Support, Clinical Documentation, and Meaningful Use.I also served as Co-Chair of the Enterprise Inpatient EMR Operations Committee.

As an Application Manager, I orchestrated and led initiatives to implement EMR systems, while continuing to serve as a point of contact for EMR issues. I managed a team of 14 clinical analysts.Throughout each project, I maintained alignment with organizational business goals and quality standards.My achievements in this role include the Go Live of an integrated pharmacy solution and service as a workgroup member of the CDS workgroup.
