For over twenty-five years my practice has focused on business litigation and construction matters in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and other jurisdictions. I have negotiated construction contracts on behalf of contractors, owners and subcontractors on a nationwide basis and frequently counsel clients on effective risk and claim avoidance.My trial experience includes both jury and jury-waived matters relating to construction claims, declaratory actions, trade secret, insurance coverage disputes, CERCLA matters, contract indemnity claims, personal injury defense, franchise termination, partnership fraud and other matters.In addition, I have extensive experience as an advocate and arbitrator in complex construction claims including delay and disruption claims and have represented owners, general contractors and large specialty subcontractors in development and prosecution of claims throughout New England and in Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York.I am a member of the Rhode Island and Massachusetts state and federal bars and the First and Eleventh Circuit Courts of Appeal.
