While maintaining an assigned customer base, a Field Service Lead is responsible for assisting the Regional Service manager with regional supervisory responsibilities. These responsibilities include allocating tasks to team members to improve metrics, time management, in order to better serve the customer. Supporting the Global Education group as a consultant to identify training needs in the field, developing curriculum, and presenting to the field. Mentor Field Service Engineers by providing additional coaching and development opportunities. Handle Regional Service Manager duties in his absence.

Under remote supervision, Advanced Sterilization Products’ Field Service Engineer I is responsible for providing customer service solutions related to installation and validation of new ASP systems, planned and corrective maintenance of installed ASP systems, improving system utilization of installed systems, and supporting lifecycle management activities in assigned accounts for all products distributed or supported by Advanced Sterilization Products, Inc.

EOD duties include conducting explosive safety training with numerous countries, Utilizing x-ray systems and robotic platforms to detect and defuse improvised explosive devices and providing technical expertise and advice to military/civilian supervisors regarding operations planning and emergency response.

As an intermediate maintenance technician the daily duties revolved around installing, inspecting, testing, adjusting, or repairing electronic countermeasures equipment. This resulted in above average proficiency in electronic tools such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, ohmmeters and troubleshooting at the component level. Collateral duties consisted of keeping records of maintenance and repair work, supervising the acquisition of replacement parts and running a classified material control center.
