He lead a start up systems business with partners from the front room of a house growing it to becoming a major supplier of solutions to the retail and hospitality sector. After a restructure he took that business private and created a wider independent software and services group before selling this company to a European based provider of IT solutions. He worked to develop that business internationally before merging it with a Swedish systems company. In January 2020 John published his book about entrepreneurship "Against the Odds" which is unique amongst business guides in discussing and promoting honest self judgement and realistic thinking as the precursor to business success.He now uses his experience to help businesses large and small transform their fortunes.
