I was brought up in Northern Ireland and moved to England over 40 years ago having attended boarding school at Coleraine Academical Institution I went on to do "A" levels at Shrewsbury School and then studied mechanical engineering but after a year in industry and a year at Nottingham decided on an early career change and attended Guildford and Chester law colleges and since then I have been working in the legal field for nearly 40 years and been practicing as a solicitor for 35 years dealing mainly with property and commercial matters. I have always endeavoured to provide a full service to my clients and tried to think "outside the box" to find solutions to problems. I set up my own firm in 1984 which grew to some 70 people and left in 2011 with no plans for the future. I decided after a period of reflection to return to what I know best and set up a new firm of Solicitors as face2face on Battlefield Enterprise Park Shrewsbury. Since then I have rebranded the firm to Hooper Burrowes Legal Limited and bought offices in Yeomanry Road. I disposed of Hooper Burrowes in 2019 and lately acquired Sussex Law Limited which I run alongside Willo Game Limited.
