Management team member for startup of an offshore Sand Control / Gravel Pack services contract (servicing TOTAL). Onsite liaison between TOTAL and the vessel build contractor for the buildup of the stimulation vessel “Stim Star Borneo”. Upon completion of the vessel build I managed the provision of offshore gravel pack services from the “Stim Star Borneo” and skid packages for the following three years. This involved the daily coordination of personnel, equipment and materials and all aspects of logistics and customer interface necessary to perform the services. During this period I also designed the layout of the vessel “Selamat-II” for the provision of CT, N2, e-line, slickline and pumping services in the Mahakam delta for TOTAL and supervised the fabrication of several aspects of the buildup in 2009.

I held a multifunctional role in both BD & operations, responsible for day to day customer liaison, job design, onsite engineering support and both technical & commercial tender preparation for TOTAL, RASGAS, and Maersk. Ultimately, as account leader my role grew into one of liaison, job design and tender preparation for all marine stimulation customers including, Maersk, RASGAS, Occidental, TOTAL, Qatargas, Talisman, Wintershall, QPD, QP, ConocoPhillips, Shell, Dolphin & BP. In an operational capacity I dealt with the day to day coordination of the vessels and coordinated many Supply Vessel charters to support our operations in Qatar. I prepared and designed the layout of swing vessel for both RASGAS (ExxonMobil) and ConocoPhillips, (The M.V. Darkstar). During this period I was also the focal point for Halliburton’s contracted vessel management company.

Doha, Qatar

I held a multifunctional role in both cementing and stimulation departments. Primary responsibilities included daily preparation of all cementing designs for Maersk Oil Qatar, on site engineering support for Maersk Oil’s offshore stimulation operations from the “M.V. Falcon Tide” and the “Halliburton 301”. I was responsible for the design of all Halliburton’s stimulation programs on RASGAS (ExxonMobil) Trains 1 & 2 of the Qatar North Field gas development. During this period I developed and implemented a system to blend and pump carbonate emulsified acid ‘on the fly’ from the “M.V. Halliburton 301”

Abu Dhabi, U.A.E.

Primarily focused on stimulation operations, I was the engineering focal point for Halliburton’s Coiled Tubing (CT) operation for ADCO in the Bab & ASAB fields. This position involved the day to day contact with ADCO’s senior field development engineers with regard to CT job planning and also involved a great deal of on site QA/QC and job supervision. I was responsible for job modeling, pipe fatigue modeling, pipe management and program preparation. I also prepared and supervised jobs performed offshore for TOTAL ABK utilizing offshore stimulation vessels.

Muscat, Oman.

Technical focal point for Halliburtons cementing operations in Oman. I was responsible for the preparation of all cementing designs required for jobs performed for PDO’s exploration, production and development departments. This involved daily customer contact with the relevant rig engineers and PDO’s assigned fluid specialists, preparation and submission of slurry designs and cementing programs, cement job modeling and field supervision of “high profile” jobs.

Fahud, Oman

As a cementing operator I prepared and executed all current types of casing and liner cementations required by PDO before moving to Muscat as an engineer in training. As an EIT (engineer in training) I was involved in day to day operations of the cement department in Muscat, Oman. I was predominantly involved in the development of long reach, horizontal liner slurries for PDO. This period was followed by an extended training schedule gaining additional field experience in fracturing and new cementing techniques in the USA.
