Application development manager of multiple teams providing custom applications primarily for the brewery packaging and QA areas. Applications included simple client-server, complex .Net server-based (windows service) apps interfacing to numerous applications, internal web applications and extranet web applications. Applications developed in Oracle, classic ASP, ASP.Net, VB.Net, C#, VB6, Sybase. Extensive experience managing software rollouts to multiple breweries for multiple apps and teams. Coordinated with corporate customers, site staff and other application teams to successfully test, schedule, implement and support the new software. Responsibility for budget (annual $2M to $4M), staffing, requirements, development and delivery. Ensured that development teams operated in accordance with A-B SDLC procedures and met SOx requirements. Worked with multiple business customers to define and scope projects, obtain funding, plan and implement new releases and review progress.

Lead analyst/developer on automated production reporting system for the packaging environment. Performed all analyst work as well as development, quality control and implementation for enhancements and modifications. Led the design, programming, rollout and support of the conversion of the application into RDMS technology, using Sybase. Supervised 4 programmers and 1 tech writer.

Analyst/Programmer on brewery packaging production applications. Led the analysis, design, development and implementation of the conversion of a manual-entry packaging floor data collection system to an automated data collection system. Planned and led the implementation of the new system on 5 packaging lines at the new Cartersville, GA brewery. Coordinated with brewery and control systems engineers to implement and support the new application. Provided classroom and plant floor training.
