As the Compliance and Traceability Lead, it is my job to work directly with the Inventory and Compliance Manager to organize and facilitate compliance with the State of California METRC Track and Trace system requirements and to prepare inventory for our 10+ acre cannabis greenhouse and 5+ acre nursery facility. This includes coordinating logistics, warehouse, and transportation operations. I create and maintain data management and tracking worksheets, manifests, staging for deliveries, track returns, and physically ensure METRC functions applied as designed and are always in compliance. I work directly with the Compliance Technicians to provide planning and organization for tagging incoming inventory. In addition, I arrange greenhouses and plan routes, assist in the transporter procedures for transfers, and process internal shipments.Other responsibilities include:-Maintain and conduct accurate and up to date inventory counts and reconciliation using METRC. -Prepare METRC reports for and carry out cycle counts to fix any discrepancies.-Receive incoming transfers and coordinate the compliant cataloging of all deliveries.-Process and document returns when products have expired or have been created incorrectly on the transfer manifest.
