I am also an astrogator, navigating spacecraft with experience in lunar, Earth, and cislunar missions. I've been an analyst, operator, researcher, programmer, software architect, product manager, vice president, chief scientist, and technical advisor. In addition, I teach satellite mission analysis courses internationally.I work with teams to develop new techniques to improve analysis, increase efficiency, solve problems, reduce costs, and reduce risks. I've worked the entire space mission life-cycle: early concepts, proposals, analysis, development, reviews, implementation, deployment, and operations.I've worked in the areas of rendezvous/prox ops; formation flying; low-Earth; geostationary; cislunar; lunar; Lissajous; asteroid; & interplanetary missions. I worked on several missions, including the NRL/NASA Clementine (DSPSE) lunar mission, NASA/NOAA GOES; NASA GRO, ISTP, WMAP, IBEX, LCROSS, SSTP CPOD, & LADEE; NSPO ROCSAT; the AsiaSat-3 rescue; USN UFO, FLTSAT, & MUOS; Inspiration Mars; Google/Skybox/Terra Bella/Planet, and SpaceIL. I designed & developed mission planning algorithms & software used worldwide for analysis and spacecraft operations. I was the lead architect & developer for the STK/Astrogator module; was a product manager for orbit determination (ODTK) and GIS; and did marketing & business development. I've designed and deployed several commercial flight dynamics systems to automate operational workflows.https://www.researchgate.net/profile/John_Carrico/
