I am a senior majoring in International Studies (Ethics/Social Justice) and Philosophy (Philosophy, Religion, and the Arts) and minoring in Theology at Boston College. I am originally from San Luis Potosí, México but currently reside in Pennsylvania. Outside of the classroom, I am involved in student policy creation, advocacy, and outreach through the Undergraduate Government of Boston College, Bowman Advocates, Pride Peers, and the Student Admissions Program. My colleagues would describe me as a poised, energetic, conversational, musical people-person. My work demonstrates my strengths in cultural competency, teamwork, and communication, while also showcasing my flexibility and willingness to learn new tasks, even with little-to-no experience.When outside the classroom, I can be found at the spin studio, doing photography, or cooking for my friends in my apartment. I also love to travel and have cross-cultural conversations about identities and social justice.
