Having taken DTC further than I ever expected to I now have opted for a change of lifestyle and even a change of country…so the Chaffe family have purchased a boutique gastehaus in the beautiful wine village of Ediger-Eller on the banks of the Mosel in Germany…alongside this we are running a design studio where we can indulge our passion for a more bespoke, hands-on approach to design including interiors, furniture, graphics and print-making – and, of course, I’m still working on children’s animation and book projects, toys and games.On one side of the Mosel is the Hunsrück – with varied terrain rather like Scotland or Wales and the on the other side of the Mosel is the Eiffel region…volcanic with deep lakes and extinct volcanoes.
