Stepped down from board at closing of the acquisition by GuestLogix. My role was focussed on the strategic development of the business in parallel with the preparation for exit. It also included contributing to the selection of the company’s adviser (Mooreland), deal management and tactics. The business resulting from the combination of OpenJaw and GuestLogix is uniquely positioned to enable better interaction between travel operators and brands with travelers throughout each stage of the travel journey.

Satisfied clients during 2008 included Quintiq Holding BV (The Netherlands), BView Limited (UK), Alea GmbH (Germany) and Falk Navigation GmbH (Germany). Pro bono work done for a respectable list of European technology start ups.

Investment Manager and General Partner in ICT Team

Assumed role of Supervisory Board Chairman about 1 year after initial TVM Capital investment in September 2004. Led 3 financing rounds. Rebuilt management team and board.

As General Partner at TVM Capital, worked with management and co-investor during the 18 months leading up to an exit by trade sale to Amadeus. Played central role in assuring exit readiness, setting exit objectives, leading negotiations and closing the transaction. Strong advisory contribution brought by Jochen Hense, then of InterFinanz.

One of two TVM Capital representatives on the Supervisory Board, until Impress´s conversion to a US Inc. and transfer of headquarters to the US. Focus on defining an exit strategy.

Joined the board to finalize the sale of Neolinear to Cadence after driving the divestiture process on behalf of TVM Capital. Advised management in preparations for the sale, set objectives and tactics. Coached negotiations.

During the period prior to the take-over by BNP, led a team of 6 Paribas professionals located in Frankfurt, Paris and London. Established Paribas among the leaders in M&A advisory in Germany.
