Managing and overseeing the credit risk of our business units, branch offices, and subsidiaries through the business cycles while working closely with our sales teams. Objective Analysis of our customers and the industries in which they operate; utilizing investigative, analytical and communicative skills to produce easily understandable reports in a timely manner. Industry coverage includes: Metals markets; Commodity/Specialty Chemicals (Storage & Distribution), Agricultural, Energy Products, Textiles, Machinery, and others.• Establish new or renewal of credit limits up to $50 million by analyzing audited balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, company payment trends, along with examining industry trends• Monitor country, political, currency risks, and news flow for international accounts• Maintain numerous internal reports including Excess Credit Report, Consumer Bankruptcy Report (for Tokyo), North America Steel Manufacturers Report (for multiple subsidiaries)• Communicate daily with sales representatives, and general managers; along with subsidiary and branch offices• Travel (when necessary) including customer visits and credit seminars for branch offices and subsidiaries• Responsible for all credit applications covering Mexico and Canada• Managing up to 30 credit applications at a time (domestic and international)• Responsible for complex or high-risk credit applications• Training of new credit members, along with holding training sessions for subsidiaries

• Timely management of medical No-Fault benefit claims• Managed over 200 active claims simultaneously• Communication with claimants, claimant’s attorneys, and outside vendors• Handle Property Damage Subrogation claims – determining liability when our insured is only partially at fault and negotiating fair and reasonable reimbursement

• Implementation of both Technical Analysis and Fundamental Analysis to create trading strategies.• Primarily a "News" driven trading style• Economic studies and Industry analysis• Managed and trained a trading desk of up to 12 traders• Oversaw morning (pre-open) and afternoon (after-the-close) meetings to discuss the “news of the day”- leading to trading ideas• Immediate determination of how news will affect a company and its Industry peers as news is disseminated.• Traded for my own account; utilizing leverage from the Firm.

• Negotiated credit limits with existing customers, potential new customers and our sales team by analyzing balance sheets, income statements, company payment trends and examining industry trends.• Established new credit limits up to $1.5 million and renewals up to $4.5 million.• Maintained credit limits for South American and Japanese Companies through the monitoring of Country risk analysis; including currency, interest rate and political risk.• Utilize Internet research, Dun & Bradstreet reports and Bloomberg analysis.
