Bhumi sells earth-friendly products that are derived from natural sources or made from recycled or environmentally-friendly materials. We work with local designers, creators and producers to create, produce and sell products with a local flair or flavour. Anything from Rainforest Honey to Handmade Soaps. Bhumi also owns the Naturally Fallen Timber Range as well as Bhumi Woodworking brands which are involved in the design and creation of custom woodwork products. We also represent local crafters in the knifemaking field - the internationaly-recognised brand MyParang as well as local knife expert Katz Tan.

I manage the operations of Rekayu which is the woodworking makerspace of Penang Science Cluster (PSC) and is both a standalone space as well as a support centre for the STEM and STEAM programmes run by PSC. We have the Independent Woodworker Programme where the public can join as members and use the full-service woodworking workshop for their own projects. We also run our own hobby programmes and are developing a Foundational Woodworking Course especially for vocationally-inclined students who want to learn woodworking and related skills.

Solaris Power specialised in Solar PV Solutions, energy efficient hot water systems and LED lighting systems. I worked alongside lighting professionals, M&E consultants and facility managers to help reduce their power consumption, then design a suitable Solar PV system.

The Yellow Chair Network was a grouping of professionals who worked alongside clients to help them find their own unique and efficacious methods of doing what they do, better.The Yellow Chair Network traces its history back to the founding of SZL Design Communications in 1991. Initially begun as design consultancy, SZL eventually began to consult on marketing communications in general and brand development in particular.We helped SMEs and MNCs in the Oil & Gas, Property & Real Estate, Chemicals and Leisure & Lifestyle industries and are proud to have worked with names like Dow Chemical, Wheelock Properties, the Soil Build Group, Caltex, Cheung Kong Holdings, Deutsche Telekom, Singapura Finance, TeleMoney and Changi Beach Club among others.The group dissolved in 2011 by which time it had brought a strong blend of Marketing Communications, Media & PR, Brand Visioneering & Strategy Consulting and Management Development to over 100 different businesses in the country.
